SERIOUS WARNING |
On this page you will find BURNOUT pictures ( as suggested by
the title ), by friends of mine and of course by myself.
No better time then tirechanging time. It means finally
getting to burn that reartire.
Not that any regular day wouldn't do, but that way this
kick could get really expensive ! On the next pictures you will notice that I got more confident of my burnout "talent". These pictures were taken in the evening ( June '98 ), so they are a little dark and in some strange way, very cloudy. Remember, when making burnout pictures, move upwind a couple of meters every time you've taken a picture! On this third picture, the lasting
image, left behind on the tarmac. June '99. Did it again. It was time to change the reartire before the summer. I had my bikeon the stand of Frans de Weerdt, the painter of my VMax at the Big Twin Custom and Speed Festival in Utrecht. There was little action going on, just bikes shining in the sun and a lot of talk. When it was about time to go home, it was the perfect chance for some smoke! As soon as I started, Frank Botas from Manitoe Performance Parts at the next stand started his Buell and joined me. My apologies to the people at the Snap - On stand ( see them duck for cover ). Below, this is what it leaves on the ground, hot rubber also melted the plastic red 'n white separation tape ! Below, Frank on his Buell. Notice the line of rubber I left on the tarmac. How about this one? Arjan on Mustang Sally doing his first burn-out! Go see the changes to the Guzzi on Arjan's homepage. Link from my "Links" page. The next picture is of a friend of mine ( Hi Rob ), making his neighbours happy by doing a burnout at the beginning of the street, while keeping in mind the theory of keeping the wind coming from the front as you take the pictures. Here's a nightly burnout done by Blackadder on his Goldwing streetfighter. Below, a picture of Maciek, an Emailfriend from Gdansk, Poland doing the right thing with the reartire of his Suzuki.
Now the "Piece de Resistance", something you could not dream possible ! A burnout, done by a friend of mine - Ron - on his bicycle ! Can you imagine the strength one needs to produce such a feat ?? If you want a step by step written
