Below
is a picture of a "Streetfightered"
GoldWing of a friend of mine. See, losing the
refrigerator and kitchensink can make a proper bike out
of one of these things. You can see him do a burnout on
this bike on the Burnout - page.
The seat is a cut down
original, the downpipes are 1200 items fitted with Ducati cans.
The bars are made from a solid piece of metal, turned
down to accept the grips and levers. Up front a pair of
Bates lights, on the back under the Ha***y
rearguard double brakelights. Don't be fooled, the small
bottle next to the radiator is only a emergency
tirerepairkit, not N2O.
This is
him, "BLACKADDER"
going
'round the corner on a little mountainroad in
Switserland.
This
Guzzi streetfighter belongs to another friend of mine.
All I know is that it used to be 850 T3. I'll get him to
send me more details.
I don't know to much about this
bike either,I took these pictures some years ago. I do
know that it does not exist in this form anymore. The
owner told me it is a stationairy
diesel engine in a modified XT 550 frame,
connected to a BSA
gearbox by a homemade belt
assembly. It would go up to 90 km / h, but it did take
ages to get there. He told me that it vibrated like hell
and that it was almost impossible , yet very important to
keep your eyes on traffic, because it did also take ages
to get to a halt. Imagine rtying to stop a hardpushing
dieselengine with XT 550 drumbrakes !
